Our edge AI on duty at Port of Antwerp-Bruges

More than 1,000 cameras keep an eye in the port area of Antwerp and Zeebrugge. Together with Phoenix AI, Rombit and Securitas, the Port has developed an AI technology that allows these cameras to automatically detect & recognize ships. By comparing this information with "AIS" data, the algorithm can confirm which ship is involved. Soon this technology will be deployed for various use cases, such as shipping guidance, berth management, incidents etc.
